server admins CANNOT restore your account when you lose ur mpid
only thing can b done is that we delete previous accounts and release names, and compensate money.
player files cannot b moved from one to anohter mpid.
so dont ask this in future, it is not possible, to move accounts from mpids.

This is very important:
All you need to do is this -
PRINT out your FLIDs! No matter what your O.S. is, just go to All Programs>Microsoft Games>Freelancer>Examine My Account ID - then PRINT my Account ID.
Save it somewhere safe so that you can always re-insert your FLID if you have to do a re-install of FL.
If you save that FLID, then you can come right back where you left off b/c the rest of it is saved server-side. Without that FLID, things become a bit rattled b/c the files that are saved server-side are associated with that FLID, and it is NOT retreiveable b/c the last 4 Alphanumerics are encrypted (ty MS).
So please folks, Print those FLIDs! Thanks for listening
